Ski Season!
My friends, I have great news! We are quickly approaching ski season. While I will unfortunately be unable to ski often this winter (finances are a bit tight with getting married and all…), I thought I would share with you the top 16 ski resorts in north america that I would like to visit during my ski-healthy years. Who knows…maybe I’ll use this list to search for jobs once I...
MLB Playoffs...and Faith?
So I’ve been keeping track of baseball this post-season. If you haven’t heard, the Phillies are going to the World Series. Cool! The city is wild right now (~1 AM)…so much so that it makes falling asleep very difficult. Ah well, this calls for sleeping in tomorrow.

My initial...
Politics...do we really care?
So I just had a fascinating discussion with my lab. Given that I am in academia, you can guess the political leaning (bias even) of the entire group. What surprised me is this: when I asked a fellow lab member if he had read the candidate’s policies, he said no. His opinions were dictated by personas, by their speaking and presentation abilities. This concerns me.
While I certainly come...
On a More Serious Note...
In Philippians 3:
…Their mind is on earthly things. 20But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
My Thoughts:
I must be committed to the renewing of my mind, because I am royally...
