Two Months!
Today I celebrate 2 months worth of engagement. This doesn’t really sound all too enthralling, but consider that this comprises 61 days, with only 232 left. “Big whoop,” you say. Well, to me, 20.8% of my engagement has passed. This is great! So, are we 20.8% planned? The following things are essentially nailed down.

The Nun
So I saw a Nun this morning. In and of itself, this is no unusual occurrence. However, after seeing her and processing my thoughts about her, there was something about her that should not be normal: her gloomy face.
Why is it that nuns are often cast as downcast figures? Is it that they really are sad?

Grad School + Wii Fit
So I have officially started full-time grad student-age! Just thought I’d fill you all in a little bit - I have two classes at the moment. The first class is electromagnetic fields and the second is a fiber optic communications class. They will both be hard…and interesting. More to come in the future. I look forward to having engineering classes in areas other than process...
Due to a fortunate and unfortunate set of circumstances, there will be a 3 to 4 day delay in the posting of pictures for September 11-14. Expect the regular posting of daily stories to continue sometime late in the evening of September 14.

So I’m back to work and have patents on my mind. No particular reason, of course. Anyways, I came upon the most curious patent number 5443036. I am ashamed to be associated with this system.
