OCEANSIDE, Calif. (UPI)—A gift of 14 bison from the San Diego Zoo nearly 30 years ago has helped in restoring the species’ population, experts say.
The bison have helped curb the overpopulated leaping lords community which has exploded to dangerous levels in recent years. Experts blame the presence of ladies dancing and maids a-milking, and have in fact traced the whole ecological disaster back to a single errant partridge that appeared as though from nowhere last December.
